Michelle Obama to Host Global Spouses at Working Farm in Upstate NY

The White House shifts back to foreign policy next week, as President Obama and wife Michelle head to New York City for the annual opening of the United Nations General Assembly.

While Obama's final schedule is still being nailed down, the White House announced today that Mrs. Obama will host other leaders' spouses on Friday at the Stone Barns Center, a non-profit farm and education center north of the Big Apple. The Stone Barns Center is a working four-season farm and educational center located just 30 miles north of New York City. There are no menus at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Instead, guests are presented with a list of over a hundred ingredients, updated daily, which contains the best offerings from the field and market.
