It was a beautiful day for the White House Easter Egg Roll. This event draws over 30,000 people each year, and this year Mother Nature cooperated quite nicely with spectacular weather.

The first family turned out in force: President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, daughters Malia and Sasha, and their grandmother, Marian Robinson.

Even Bo, the president's Portguese water dog and the picture of a poised pet, turned out.

The Obamas brought in a heavy roster of celebrities, including author J.K. Rowling, actress Reese Witherspoon, Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno, singer Sara Bareilles and the cast of television's "Glee."

For kids, the even bigger draws: the Easter Bunny, who was assisted by characters including SpongeBob, Captain Planet, the Cat in the Hat, Clifford the Big Red Dog and those noisy characters from "Yo Gabba Gabba."

Mrs. Obama's theme is tied to her anti-childhood obesity campaign, called "Let's Move!"
