The First Lady is a no nonsense woman who is now getting the comic book treatment.
For the second time.
Bluewater Productions specializes in unusual comic books and graphic novels--everything from William Shatner to Kristen Stewart. It also has a line of comics called "Female Force", graphic novels detailing the accomplishments of Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
Bluewater says one year ago, the first edition of its Michelle Obama comic book "sold out a week before the comic was in stores." That first edition focused on Mrs. Obama's life up until the White House.
Now, the sequel, "Female Force: Michelle Obama: YEAR ONE" (that's a lot of colons) follows the First Lady's story "from her husband's presidential inauguration and delves into the causes, the controversies and the chaos that shaped her first year in the White House". Controversies? Chaos? Seems to me there's been a lovely garden planted there, and now she's out telling parents to feed their kids healthier foods.
