Right Wing Bloggers Attack First Lady
Last week President Obama honored fallen soldier (Jared Monti) with the Medal of Honor Award at the White House. The right wing bloggers are having a field day because the First Lady wore something that was stylish to the ceremony, rather than a conservative suit. To put things in context, I am posting Nightly News account of the Awards Ceremony. It was a wonderful ceremony highlighting the soldier and his heroism. From all media accounts, the family of the fallen soldier was honored to be at the White House, and the President & First Lady were thankful for the Soldier's service and sacrifice to his Country.
Right wing blogger, HotAir posted this comment about the First Lady's attire for the Medal of Honor ceremony:
You might think a posthumous Medal of Honor award ceremony would be a somber occasion, but not everyone would agree with you. Either this is an especially skillful photo shop effort or Michelle Obama has no clue whatsoever about the nature of this event. U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jared C. Monti’s parents received the award for him. I hope they didn’t notice the first lady’s stunningly inappropriate dress, but that’s unlikely.
It must have been a slow news day for the right wing to focus solely on the First Lady's attire and to be so mean and nasty.
