Islander's Get Ready for The Obamas

The first family’s vacation plans are a closely guarded state secret, but one Vineyard boutique owner has a plan of action for first lady Michelle Obama .

Patty Culkins, owner of Saffron on Main Street, and her assistant Erin King have created a “What Would Michelle Do?” window featuring activities and fashion choices for the fashionable first lady’s Vineyard holiday.

Today, in honor of the first family’s arrival, “Cocktails At Five” was checked off on the Obamas’ To-Do list, accompanied by a stunning, emerald-green Jax satin shift. In true Michelle fashion, the dress is sleeveless.
